Dear K1 Parents,

We are excited to inform you that the K1 class will be participating in a Singing Competition in the coming weeks! This event presents a wonderful opportunity for your children to showcase their growing confidence, musical skills, and teamwork in front of an audience.

To prepare for the competition, we will be practicing the selected songs during our lessons. However, we kindly ask for your support and encouragement at home to help your child feel even more prepared and confident. Practicing at home, even for just a few minutes each day, will greatly contribute to their performance and overall experience.

Here are a few ways you can support your child’s preparation:

Encourage regular practice: Singing the competition songs at home can help boost their confidence and familiarity with the lyrics and rhythm.

Create a positive environment: Praise your child's efforts and let them know you’re proud of their hard work, no matter the outcome of the competition.

We believe that this competition will be a fun and enriching experience for the children, and your involvement plays a key role in their success. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to your child’s learning journey.

If you have any questions or need further details about the competition, please feel free to reach out to me.

Warm regards,

K1 Teaching Team

Thank you for attending our Parents Day 2025

Thank you for attending Parents' Day 2025. It was a true pleasure meeting with each of you and sharing insights into your child’s learning journey in the K1 program. Our K1 students are a vibrant and inquisitive group, and their enthusiasm for learning through the Dora the Explorer English Program has been truly inspiring.

I am pleased to report that the students have successfully completed Units 1-5 of their Student Book in the first semester. They have made remarkable progress in self-introductions and learning basic vocabulary. To further enhance their language skills, I have been incorporating these new words into practical, everyday sentence patterns, helping them apply their knowledge to real-life situations.

As we move into the second semester, we will focus on Units 6-10. Music will continue to play a significant role in our lessons, as the students greatly enjoy learning through songs and chants. This interactive approach keeps them engaged and motivated, fostering a positive environment for language acquisition.

I would also like to encourage the use of English at home, even for just 5 minutes a day. Asking your child simple, specific questions about their day at school can significantly reinforce their learning. This additional practice will not only boost their confidence but also deepen their understanding of the language.

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make this semester a successful and enjoyable learning experience for your child.

Unit 6 My Day

 songs and chants

Dear Parents,

I am excited to inform you that our K1 Dora class will begin a new unit titled My Day. In this unit, the children will be learning important vocabulary words   "morning," "night," "nap time," and "bedtime." Through engaging activities, they will explore the differences between morning and night and how nap time differs from bedtime.

Additionally, students will be introduced to new vocabulary and sentence patterns that connect these keywords. We will incorporate songs and chants to make learning fun and interactive, helping to reinforce the concepts in a meaningful way.

Watching the children grow into inquisitive, confident learners has been truly rewarding, and I am excited to see how much they will continue to develop in this new unit.
