 Dear Parents,

I am excited to share with you what your child will be learning this week in the K1 Dora group. We are currently working on Unit 2: Family. In this unit, our young learners are being introduced to new vocabulary words that relate to family members, including mommy, daddy, brother, and sister. These are important words that will help your child talk about their family and understand the concept of a family unit.

Each lesson begins with our beloved "Hello" song, which the students enjoy singing and dancing along to. You can find an attached link to the audio/video for home use, so your child can continue practicing and having fun at home.

Additionally, this week we will be incorporating a brief lesson on the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is a wonderful opportunity to explore the theme of family in a cultural context. We will highlight how this festival is a time for families to come together and celebrate.

We encourage you to ask your child about the new words they are learning and discuss how your family celebrates special occasions. This can be a great way to reinforce their learning and create meaningful connections between school and home.
