Unit 3 Numbers 1-5
Dear K1Parents,
I am excited to inform you about our unit 3 lesson for our K1 Dora group. This week, we will be introducing the numbers 1 to 5. The goal is to help the children identify, recognize, and make connections between numbers and objects in a fun and engaging dialog.
Lesson Overview:
- Number Recognition: We will focus on recognizing numbers 1 through 5 and associating them with their written form.
- Counting Objects: Your child will learn to count objects and match them to the corresponding number, helping to solidify the concept of quantity.
- Interactive Activities: To make learning exciting, we will use a variety of hands-on activities such as counting blocks, toys, and drawing. Songs and games will also play a role in making this a memorable experience.
How You Can Help at Home:
- Encourage your child to count everyday objects (toys, snacks(small cookies, pieces of fruit), or steps). 1,2,3,4,5
- Practice identifying numbers on household items such as clocks, doors in the home, and books.
- Engage in simple counting games, such as asking your child to give you "3 blocks" or "2 books."
Your support in reinforcing these concepts at home will make a significant impact on their learning. If you have any questions or would like additional resources, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for your continued support!
