Dear K1 Dora Parents,
As
we approach the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on
the tremendous growth our K1 students have made—both socially and academically.
It has been a joy to witness their development over the past months.
We
are now concluding our final unit in the Dora books with Lesson 10, which
focuses on verbs—action words such as walk,
jump, clap,
and dance. In addition to these, students
will be introduced to many more action verbs as we continue expanding our
vocabularies through engaging songs and lively chants. These activities not
only reinforce language learning but also celebrate how far the students have
come in their speaking and comprehension skills.
Our
class is also working diligently to prepare for the upcoming song contest. The
children have been practicing three songs with great enthusiasm, and I am truly
impressed by their clarity, pronunciation, and growing confidence. Their
speaking accuracy has improved remarkably, and it is evident that they are
applying what they've learned in meaningful and joyful ways.
It
has been a true honor to be part of your child’s academic journey in K1. I am
so proud of each and every student for their progress and their bright, eager
spirits; I am excited to see what the future holds for each of them academically.
