We will be teaching the children a special Halloween chant, "Knock, Knock, Trick or Treat," which will introduce them to the customs of Halloween in a playful and engaging way. Throughout the lesson, the children will: Learn new Halloween-themed vocabulary. Explore the fun of dressing up in different costumes.   Dear Parents, This week in our K1 Dora class, we are excited to begin Unit 4, where we will be focusing on colors . Our primary colors of focus for the week are red, blue, yellow, and green . We have planned a variety of fun and engaging activities to help the children learn and recognize these colors. In the classroom, we will be using items and manipulatives to classify colors into groups, and the children will practice matching objects with color flashcards. These hands-on activities will support their understanding of each color while encouraging them to explore and discover. We will also be singing songs and chanting to make learning more interactive and enjoyable. These songs are a wonderful way to heighten language skills and increase color awareness while having fun. The children have been actively participating in our lessons, where we focus on learning the names of family members, such as "mommy," "daddy," "brother,"  and "sister"  we added  "baby" to the vocabulary; as some of our classmates have recently added a new member to their family unit. One of the highlights of our class has been the chants and songs we sing about family, which the children absolutely love. It’s wonderful to see them speaking aloud with confidence and pride as they sing along and practice their vocabulary. I am incredibly impressed by their enthusiasm and the growth they have shown in both their academic skills and their ability to express themselves in English. Their confidence continues to shine through, and I can see that they are developing a strong foun
